A representative from the organic skin care line came in tonight and went over their products. The product line is a little intimidating only because there are so many different ones to choose from, but I like that they have a scale from driest to oiliest for all their products. That really helps to narrow down which to use. I’ve been using a few of the products on myself lately, and I do really like them. I’d like to try some of their other lines. If I know what they feel like and actually see the results on my own face, I’ll feel more confident talking about them.
After the rep went over the products, she did a facial with AHA on one of the students. I like watching other people give facials because I feel like I learn a little more I watch how they stand (or sit) for posture purposes; I watch how they remove eye makeup; how they put the products on; how they do their massage; I even watch to see where they put the towels and other things they use once they’re done with them; and I check out how they lay out the products they’re going to use. I take all of it in and I try to learn from it. So now I can give facials using this line. I hope I get to practice one first before servicing a client with it.
