I took some photos of my last days at school and I wanted to share them with you all.
The first photo is me and Colleen. I was about to complete all my hours and I was very excited. Even though I didn’t pass two of my school boards that day, I was still in a pretty good mood and very happy!
Here’s Colleen with a few of the girls from our class, Ashley, Megan and Blair. Blair graduated last week and Ashley and Megan are about to. Ashley wants to work in a spa, while Blair wants to work in the medical esthetics field. Megan currently works for a beauty supply store and does makeup. She’s great at makeup. She did a makeup lesson on me once and did an awesome job! She used eyeshadow colors that I never would’ve picked myself and I loved it!
More girls from our class, Renata and Dianne. Dianne is going to continue on to nursing school. Renata is great at waxing eyebrows. She waxed my eyebrows once and did such an amazing job. I wish I would’ve taken advantage and had her wax them more! And although she’s never given me a facial, she’s supposed to give a great massage!

These are fellow students, Erin, Vanessa and Tami. Erin should be graduating next month and Vanessa next spring or summer. Tami actually has her esthetics license in Florida, but because Illinois requires more hours, she had to go back to school.
More fellow students, Kenya and Tannis. Tannis was at the front desk that day and they were working on their spa project. Kenya is the false eyelash queen. She is a pro at applying them! They each work for a cosmetics line at a department store. Different cosmetic line, same department store.
And last, but not least, here’s a picture of me and Colleen with our teachers. All of the teachers in the photo were students at our school at one time. Kristine is a licensed esthetician and instructor and is in charge of running the school. Cassandra graduated about a year ago and is also a licensed esthetician. She completed her student teaching hours and passed the instructor’s exam earlier this year. Dawn graduated in March and took the state exam in the spring and passed and came back to student teach. I believe she will be taking the instructor’s exam sometime soon. Diana graduated in July and is student teaching. She took the state exam last week and there’s no doubt she passed. She’s been at the school practically every hour they’re open getting in her student teaching hours and should be done sometime next month.
